whats up guys? hey i was wondering my friend just bought a 1987 chrysler shelby z car. i was wondering if anybody here knew about these cars? i am wondering what is a good biuild on these cars or what turbos interchange beacouse the factory turbo is a little one. has anybody ever built one or knew someone who has just looking for input thanks guys

thats basically a dodge daytona iroc rt right?
predecessor to the dsm's we all love and hate. i would assume a lot of dsm parts would swap over, its got a nice fmic iirc. oh a mitsu starion ic might swap, if its different.

The Daytona has NOTHING to do with Mitsubishi whatsoever. The engine in there is the Chrysler Turbo II K series engine. The same thing found in Shadows and Caravans. 1987 was the first year for that particular motor.
The engine is actually pretty lame. My 87 Shadow ES had a similar engine, and it was incredibly complicated. The guys at the dealership hated working on it.
