One night I was driving home, I had this sudden urge to something in the middle of the night. So I stop at Burger King.
Pulled up to the drive-thru and ordered my meal. Right after ordering, they asked me to pull up to the window. Not a split second later did the BK staff and I heard this horrific hissing sound coming out of the engine bay. I was like WTF was that? Proceeded to turn off the car and check under the hood for any obvious problems. Mm, none OK ?!
Moments later I heard the a BK employee tell someone (probably his manager) that "there might be a problem in the drive-thru lane, I think someones car broke down" over the speaker box
I proceeded to turn the car back on and the sound was gone ( sound later came back on my way home, turned out it was my radiator fan making its last spins before it fried ).
I guess the fail comes in play when they saw me picking up my order and they knew I had the problem with the car.
OH wait ! I remember when I first got my car. I had went to auto zone to get power steering fluid. Went back into the store dumbfound and asked for help. The employee looked at my car outside and said "dude you don't even have the power steering pump !".
that's the only time I'll let an Auto-Zone employee OWN me
Yeah, that could be my biggest cb fail.Last edited by ibr_adam09; 10-01-2009, 08:02 PM.

I attempted to install a Collective Racing traction bar on my car. My car was hit before I got it, apparently, and the frame is tweaked. Not a big deal... but it caused the holes not to line up with the traction bar.
I attempted to force it on, and ended up stripping 3 of the 4 main bolt holes in the process.
That traction bar is now tig welded on there in 6 places. Good thing the radius rods are easy to remove! Kudos to Scott for that design!

Definitely installing my rear sway bar using the oem knife jack and ghetto jackstands by myself. What are ghetto jackstands you ask? Well, at my house they consist of a handful of leftover bricks. The entire rear end was up on these bricks and the oem jack (which was almost fully extended at this point) when the jack decided to buckle, causing the car to drop one side all the way to the ground. Luckily, I wasn't under the car at the time. I spent the next 20 minutes trying to figure out how to pick the thing back up. I ended up littlerally grabbing the inside of the rear quarter and picking the entire side up while sliding the jack back into place with my foot.
Needless to say I went out right then and there and bought some jackstands and a legit jack.
That, or when I got pissed at how a new drying towell I had purchased was complete shit and hit my roof, causing a dent

eBay coilover sleeves, and the rears didn't even slide onto the strut, which caused it to be like this.
