so they said they can only pay through paypal when i asked about a money order. Should i let them send it, cash it out when it gets here and close the account?

try it, but they will more than likely send an echeck and say it will clear and to send the item now...then they cancel echeck after they get the tracking number.

i don't plan on sending shit. they keep beating around the bush. I told them i don't have paypal. The only way i would do it is a cash wire transfer. i haven't gotten a reply back yet.

dude just delete that message. Its a total SCAM. Just look at the way the email was written. They can't speak correctly, like it was translated or something. I get those all the time when I sell crap on CL. I just delete them. If you respond then they'll just keep bugging you about sending it "out of the states" and they'll have their "shipper come pick it up" from you.

yeah. ive gotten those before. LMAO....heres a funny one.

i get a random email from a guy in Africa. he told me that him and his family are trying to get over to the states because theres a lot of civic war going on. so i go along with it(i was young and dumb because i was 14 but i soon figured it out). a couple of emails and he says he has a trunk of money(totaling $.1 million), he wanted to send over here for ME to hold for him and as a reward, i can have $$500,000 of if and the rest he wanted me to invest it for him.

but i had to send him $500 to get the trunk of money over here. thats when i thought in my head, "wtf? you have a trunk of CASH MONEY and you cant use none of it to get it over here? whatever. lulz

                      lol. yeah man.

any time you get an email about an item your selling and the person offers your a crazy amount(like $100+ more than what your selling it for) and always refers to the thing your selling as an "item" instead of the things name, then its a scam. just be sure not to fall for any of it.

even if the person is using paypal, the funds can be frozen and then even deleted. then your out of a item and money.
