watching right now...Pee Wee Herman is awesome. I like Leno, but prefer stuff like NCIS, CSI: Crime, Castle, The Mentalist, etc.

It's ok for what it is... just like any sort of "late night" talk show, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not.

EDIT: A few nights ago there was some funny stuff about "ghosting", pretty funny sh*t.

Very true, but at least now you don't have to stay up as late to find out it wasn't good.

Yeah. Leno's collection is amazing.

I actually didn't like the man all that much until I got into cars, and learned that he was a car nut himself. Then I felt a sort of kinship... and suddenly, he was funny. My dad got me into watching Johnny Carson just before he stepped down. Then I moved on to Letterman. Back then, everyone was expecting Letterman to take Carson's place... and when Leno came in, I was like "Who the hell is this man with a massive chin?" and I didn't want to like him.

Now I like Letterman. I like Leno. And I've always liked Conan. and it's cool that he stepped into Leno's spot (and we still get to keep Leno!)

I am up anyways so staying up is not an issue. Leno seems IMHO to be trying to be a little bit more family friendly. It is not working IMO. This was hyped all summer as "MORE COMEDY." The Kanye "apology" was funny, headlines is always good and Pee Wee was great when I was younger and still seemed to have the right stuff tonight.

Not much of a fan of Kevin Eubanks and his constant microphoned laughing and lame off cue comments. He does seem quieter with the comments then he was when they were on the Tonight Show.

Some of the bits seem to be something that could be very easily taken as racist. "Great White Moments in Black History." Then tonight there was a bit with the Black female correspondent that went to Harlem and basically portrayed white people anywhere in Harlem as out of place idiots after she spouted about Obama and how great she thinks he is.

I liked the first show when they sang at the car wash...that chick was pretty hot..


the Headlines portion always cracks me up. But I am usually not home to see his shows. but they're IMO better than Conan.
