I might be the first one to defend police, but I still know that they do mess up. There ARE imperfect police officers. They are human, after all.

I've been harassed by Strasburg Police countless times. It's just one of those things. If you have no reason to worry, and nothing that will get you arrested, then just be polite, and 100% of the time in my experience, he's collected his thoughts and was nice about it. An officer is NOT going to treat you with his utmost kindness if you sit there frowning, trying not to talk, then acting sketchy when you do, or try to pull a power trip on him.

Power trip on police officer, NOT a good tactic since they are higher on the command chain than us.


That being said, the more I think about this topic, the more I wonder if it IS too much. At first, I thought, it's a little blood, no big deal. Scared of needles? Get over it, so am I, but little kids can handle it; so can we. The only reason I question it is because of A) what deev said about not putting ANYONE at risk and B) there are plenty of other seemingly appropriate circumstances to prove one's intoxication. Equally, If I know this, and all of us know this, so would the officers, and they probably wouldn't resort to this sort of thing often.

I live here in texas and that is no joke. It sucks arss! The average person can have a sixer within an hour and barely blow over what is concidered legally drunk. If you do the breathalizer and blow over .16 your fine is doubled. Regardless if you are wasted and driving you are a TARD! Stay at home, get wasted, and don't put others lives on the line just because you were irresponsible. You are going to be guilty regardless so save yourself some money. Your best bet is not to allow them to do either. However they can take you in for not having control of your motor functions.

But like everyone is saying if you are not drunk nor were you drinking then let em' do it.

there is too much that can go wrong in a split sec on the side of the road. not a place to draw blood. just think about all the drivers that are goin on no sleep that are on the road. i dont wannt have a needle in me when one swerves close. now if this was being done at a station or hospital thats fine. but not out in the open.
