If you mean work it by being on welfare or goverment aid's,then no the hell I'm not working the system I'm not on any type of goverment aid and since you don't know where I come from or know anything about me don't make commemt's about someone you don't know without facts to back it.

How can the U.S still manage to pay for materials used to make things for NASA,Military and etc since we're in a recession right. While there are people that are losing their homes left and right,people losing their jobs, everything that was lost in hurricane Katrina has not been repaired and still looks the same after that happened. Where was the goverment then right after that happened. They don't care about anyone or anything but them damn selves, those selfish assholes.

This is a democracy. You have the power to change your government. That's what I meant. It had nothing to do with welfare and "working" the system.

You can vote. You can get involved. You can make changes. YOU ARE THE GOVERNMENT. We're not ruled by kings chosen by some god. We are led by people that answer to US. We put them in power, and we allow them to do what they do. If they do anything shady, that's because we allow it. Educate yourself about the system, and use that knowledge to change what you don't like. Otherwise, pointing the finger at "them" is really just pointing it right back at yourself.


There are a lot of shady, stupid people in office. I personally HATED Bush. I voted against him both times he ran.
However, if I felt more strongly about it, I could've done more. I could've campaigned against him in some manner. I could have learned facts about him, as well as our system, that could've assisted me in accomplishing my goal. I just didn't care enough to put forth the effort. Why? Because my quality of life was just fine with him in office. I didn't bitch, because I didn't do anything to change it.

I'm not much of a politician but this thread has gotten highly political and there are some ignorant statements floating around (which I don't care to pick out). All I gotta say is how can those people that talk shit about the country they grew up/live in be here today? Seriously though, like said before, if you don't like it then get the fuck out. I wish this kind of mentality would lead to deportation of some sort.
