I agree with that idea...but "full members"? I have had a couple times a newcomer PM asking about my SSR's and wanting to come to my house to see them, but when I agree to meet somewhere they are not interested. Then later they contact me again trying to come to my house for something else...again, I'll meet you somewhere, and they dissapear

Good idea Deev. Or raise the limits on posts you can have to see it to like 300-500 posts. By then odds are u will be a full blown member w/people knowing who u are, where u live etc if u happen to be a thief.

I think that would be a great idea. Only serious members be able to view member rides is probably for the best.

And just like jimy said, that's why I don't have one either. The less people know about the car or where its located the easier I can sleep at night with it parked where it is.

I removed all my info aside from a few pics, just for that very reason too many lurkers...Heck some sites you have to create an account and sign in to even view anything.

Personally I feel like you should lock the member's list unless you're a member of the site as well.

May sound dumb, but I didn't even realize the MRT's were a "shopping list" for thieves until JakFrostwhite brought it up in another thread a few days ago.

best idea ive heard man. too many thieves are popping up. so many times ive looked at the members online list and seen "Guest" viewing the MR threads. i think if your not a real member(as in 30 actually good post) then you cant be allowed to view any of the MR threads or Image Galleries until you are.


what about the people who make it to 30 post and get to like 60 and then disappear for like 4,000 years?
