Look into internet/affiliate marketing. Many ppl make big bucks if you have the desire and action

My advise would be not only to learn the business aspect but to be effective in the business your going to run know your product and the technical aspect aswell. For example if your selling parts online know the parts and what they do. This makes for knowledgable customer service encounters. As far as the technical aspect beable to communicate the business system requirements to those making the system and know how to do it yourself if something breaks.

In addition always remember newton's law, "Any thing that can go wrong will go wrong and plan accordingly"

try this site. they help you create your own website and teach you how with an 8 hour course. its only 30$ a month (which is wat you pay for the class and all the different tools they give u) and hosting is free. theres more to it but i havent really done this yet. planning on by next week

i have spent this whole past year on doing resedarch on lawn care aqnd how to run a business

basically if u keep small and only work yourself and have one truck one trailer and buy used and never go in debt you will net about 30-40% profit. thats already paying taxes and insurance and upkeep of your business.

whats hard is the middle guys who have about 3-4 rigs and about 6 or more guys almost no profit and you as a business owner will make as much of a living as a small setup.

but if you do make it big and have like +1000 accounts and have 10+ trucks, you ciould be a multi millionare.

i say lawncare is a better way to make cash then doing forums and such. more work people don't want to do ourside.


remember the ecoming is not good. and it is getting worse.

Well there is a point to be made there. Just do the research and be confident in what you do.

Good call on that - nobody likes lawn care. I, myself, am horribly allergic to grass so no mowing for me... without a gas mask :P

the problem in america is that there are so many uneducated lazy asses that no one is willing to do a skilled job. so these affiliate and wholesale and work at home shit dont work any more because there are 20 million people trying to make a buck the easy way.

you need to acquire a skill and be good at it. people will really recognize that you have a talent and bring you work based on the fact that you do your job well.

when you are efficient with what you work and have a good clientel. thats when you need to open a business.

and these words coming from a 22 year old is pretty scary however im not saying that ive been there and done it all.

The only way you're really going to profit from a local car site is to REALLY whore it out... and nobody will want to go to it. Trust me.

I don't make any profit from the ads on this site. In fact, the ads at the top left are there because I think those companies are valuable to this community. I haven't asked any of those advertisers for any form of payment in quite some time (just hoping I get a good deal on parts when I order stuff )

The Google ads don't bring in all that much, and this site gets 8 million hits a month. Or more. What I make is barely enough to cover the hosting cost.


It's worth a shot, but don't expect too much. If you want to start a local forum, do so because you want to start a local forum. Not because you want to make money.
