    Nsx Submarine

Sure. The engine is in the back. As long as he pushed the water out of the way it wouldn't hydrolock. He'd have been smart to run with an open throttle body as well... It's harder to hydrolock a mid engined car.

I wonder how soggy the carpet got. I'd hate to be the guy to pay $30,000 for that used car!

Salvaged NSX... I'll give him $5,000 for it

Drop another $5000 at an upholstery shop to have the interior redone... Score.

I agree....motor probably didnt even get wet...maybe the dp and exhuast...and I doubt that was water coming out of the car...just water running down the weather stripping....

BUT...if water did get in that would be a slap on the nads...lol....

Yeah...the engine was probably ok being mid engine but that interior has to be soaked...you can see pouring out the door sills.

But doesn't the NSX get its air from the driver's side air duct?

If the owner was smart, he disconnected the air intake. If it's sucking air from the top of the engine bay, it's quite safe.

If you look at an engine bay picture, the intake pipe goes to the scoop at a downward angle and, at the speed he was driving, the suction of the engine probably wasn't enough to suck a bunch of water up a slanted tube into the TB
