Sure. The engine is in the back. As long as he pushed the water out of the way it wouldn't hydrolock. He'd have been smart to run with an open throttle body as well... It's harder to hydrolock a mid engined car.
I wonder how soggy the carpet got. I'd hate to be the guy to pay $30,000 for that used car!

I agree....motor probably didnt even get wet...maybe the dp and exhuast...and I doubt that was water coming out of the car...just water running down the weather stripping....Originally posted by deevergote View Post

Yeah...the engine was probably ok being mid engine but that interior has to be soaked...you can see pouring out the door sills.Comment

If the owner was smart, he disconnected the air intake. If it's sucking air from the top of the engine bay, it's quite safe.Originally posted by FDAccord View Post
