funny thing is that since i was in the military when i purchased and used my computer, it became their property not only that but when i would log on a gov website to check out or update my personal information i had to agree to that screen(i cant remember), im sure that at some point they can get access to our things wether we like it or not, i now understand why they gave us free anti virus programs for our personal computers lol, i feel so violated

Unfortunately that's not a new thing. I'm just surprised that they're being so blatant about it. Millions of people won't see this as a red flag. And for those of you that do, don't be fooled into feeling safe. Monitoring of your computer is old news.

That disclaimer means that they have the right to monitor it because it's run by government facilities. It's like going into the courthouse and them having the right to frisk you, empty your belongings, refuse entry, etc.

Would you let someone in your house if they had a loaded firearm? How about about drugs? Wait, don't answer that last question.

It's just a disclaimer allowing them to have total control over media exchange, interaction and so on. Every time you contact technical support for your PC and they use Remote Assistance, it's the same basic idea. Not that they plan to do anything, but you do give them authorization to have unrestrained access to your computer (ie: personal data). It's what you have to accept to be able to have your problems resolved in such a manner.

who is this glen beck,I personally never watch fox,I'm a cnn Wolf blizter guy myself.I just posted it because they were making such a big deal out of,plus it reminded me of a scene out of "EAGLE EYE",when Rosario Dawson logged into the dead guys laptop,and it told her you are on a government computer and now being tracked.
