I love it. That paint probably cost more than 90% of the cars on here.
More people need to learn to appreciate time and money invested in a project, regardless of whether or not it's done to your taste.
Without guys like this, we'd all be driving the same fake JDM'd accords."This truck is 100% sh*ts and giggles."
"Speed has never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary... that's what gets you." Jeremy Clarkson
You're not JDM until you have a car built in ohio with tons of bolt ons from ebay.

And turbomaxx is absolutely right. People HAVE to push things to the extreme. Yeah, maybe this one is a bit much... but without people like this guy, doughboy, customlowz, etc... we'd all have the same options. We'd all want to be stickydiljoe or 2point6.
Be different. Even if you suck. A failed attempt at originality is far more respectable than a successful clone of someone else's work.

I'd MUCH rather see this donk accord or doughboys or any well done kitted cb7 than stickydiljo or 2point6's car in my driveway. (I want 2point6's swap, but I want it in an ORIGINALLY modded car.)
EDIT- And that isn't to hate on sticky or 2.6's cars. They look great. But they also look like alot of other accords on this site and on the road.
Body kits used to be the shit. Now it's trying to be JDM. both were awesome in their prime. if body kits don't come back, I can't wait to see what is next. Maybe it's donks. Maybe it's gonna be running no bumpers. who knows, the possibilities are LITERALLY endless.Last edited by turbomaxx; 08-11-2009, 08:43 PM."This truck is 100% sh*ts and giggles."

There's nothing wrong with JDM. Stickydiljoe proved that. There's nothing wrong with clean and bone stock. Kitted. Boosted. Etc... There's nothing wrong with a little of everything. Amber corners look great on some cars. They aren't JDM, but as long as the owner isn't proclaiming that they are, who cares? (and if he bought them in Japan, they ARE! )
The thing is to do it RIGHT. When you halfass something, it shows. When you spraypaint your car with primer and call it a "paint job", when you slam a car on stock shocks and go bouncing down the road "tucking tires" because it's cool, when you put HIDs in your stock housings and have them aimed in 2 different (and equally wrong) directions... It just looks like shit.
As far as I'm concerned, this guy did the donk think right. The engine bay is a little weak, but at least he carried the theme into it. I'm sure it's not a finished project, either. But the paintjob looks great. The wheels are in good shape, and clean. The angle of the wheels is what impresses me... He didn't just lift it and be done with it. It appears that camber correction was done, and that means it was done RIGHT!
Would I ever do this? Not in a million years. If I saw this guy on the street, would I ask him if he's on CB7tuner, and ask him to join if he wasn't? You bet.

I'd still rock that car over that RSX-lifted Civic any day.
But I do notice that some members here are like hawks. They see something they don't like about another guy's CB7 or Accord..and immediately it's like they go in for the kill.
Pick the damn thing apart in just about every which way.
You guy's can't jump me and tell me that's a bold face lie...cause it's not.

And yes,why do all accords have to be jdm or stock,Do you guys know how many modified/custom accords I talk to up there and invite to join this site. But they read the STUPID REMARKS about how you are supposed to look, jdm this jdm that so they dont join. You guys need to wakeup and realize THAT SOME OF US HAVE MINDS OF OUR OWN and want to be different whether you like it or not.BUILT NOT BOUGHTOG OWNER,SINCE 06/1992

It's a coherent design. Not just some kid that lifted his car and slapped shitty rims on it
he actually had something half nice to say
