True....I highly doubt i'll have this car in 3 years. I have alot of job opportunities opening up for me and at that time I'm getting something newer. Hopefully in 2 years my gross income should be around $55k so it would be alot easier to purchase and maintain my e39 M5.

tru...but I dont have the tools nor do I have the time with 2 jobs but with the price I paid to install all that shit, it was way smarter and cost effective to have him do it

Yeah, I'm just throwing it out there so people don't think they HAVE to go to a mechanic.

yup, I was willing to pay a shop that before I asked him and he told me $125 to install the kit along with the upper and lower balljoints so I just had him do everything else.
Best $250 Ive ever spent on my cb, well kinda.

Personally i was reluctant that he knew what the hell i was talking about when he quoted me $125 to install the kit along the all the balljoints so I called him back 3 times over the last 2 months to confirm he knew what I wanted done but yea, you dont need a mechanic at all. If Gus and Felipe had time to loan me there tools and garage i would have tackled it myself actually.

                    Same here.

I'm really no good at working on my cars. I always break stuff, I don't really enjoy it, and I never fully trust my own work (though when I do it right, it always seems to be just fine... I only halfassed a couple things in the past that have come back to haunt me...)
I'm good at my job, and when I work hard, my paycheck shows it. IMO, if you can make money doing something you're good at, why not work extra and pay to have it done.

I know there's a certain pride in doing it yourself, but if you're like me and you don't enjoy it, what's the point! I like driving my car, not fixing it.

actually for some people that like to drive agressive and run on the mountains, its very necessary. plus it includes more rear end parts

Nice PSA. I know the feeling form when I had that done to the SE. Felt like a brand new Acura TL.
