YAY I BRICKED MY PHONE LAST NIGHT!!

























yea well i bricked it . it was an idiot mistake of mine. there are 2 SPL's to download. the 1st one is used when you root the phone and the 2nd is used when your ready for the hero rom . i put the 2nd 1 instead by accident and now the phone stays stuck on the g1 screen. tryed the bootloader and recovery mode and nothing. oh well i guess i learned my lesson. time for another g1. ill get one by the end of this week and try again im not a quitter!

My MT3g is on its way.

If thats what you have, when im done doing mine, i will gladly walk you through it. It is way to easy to give up like that lol.

It is a little time consuming but its probably worth the patience.

nope. im surprised i brickd the phone. apparently theres only 1 way to do it and i found it out. oh well . nothing i can do now but wait till next week and get another fone. works out great because i couldnt pay my phone bill this week anyways

Well I'm pretty positive you can do the one click method for the G1. Then all you need is the spl and radio files and the rom you want and you backup flash reboot.

Not to bad.

If you want to run the Hero rom you need the class 6 card although I bought one just to have, hopefully I reap some rewards for buying it regardless if I run a Hero rom or not.

So I got my 3g mytouch and I love it. Don't see a need to root it it runs great. I might need too to obtain tethering capability. ....we'll see. This phone is amazing.

niice. i knew ud like it . im kind of thinking about waiting a little bit and saving my money for a mytouch. i love the hero on screen keyboard. and i think the mytouch has more ram then the g1 . not sure if im ready to give up the keyboard though . how much did u get it 4?
