I believe in keeping every option the car came from the factory in working condition. I have a H22 swap with working A/C, PS, and Cruise. It's so easy to keep those things. I think most people who remove them do so because they simply don't know how to keep them with the swap, or are just plain lazy. Then they make excuses for it, saying this and that...."grow a pair" whatever. I rarely use cruise control...only when driving over 100 miles on the freeway. But it's there, it came from the factory and had a price tag associated with it, so I'll keep it in working condition. And the only thing you need to do to keep it after the swap is re-connect the damn vacuum line.
The more you take off the car the more ghetto and Junk Yard status your car becomes. Thats my opinion though, but I will say that cars with clean ass wire tucks are the exemption to this.
How much hp are you gonna gain by removing these things? I doubt you will run a 1/4 in the 13s thats for sure. And that would still be slow if you did.
