One of the first things I installed was a compustar remote keyless entry/security/start. It's awesome in the winter and being able to start my car from over 1/4 mile away is great! My Member's Ride Thread

The only thing I find useful with remote start is if its cold outside, you can warm your car up without having to go outside.

When it's cold out, set your heat, and then it's warm when you get there.
If its hot out, set your AC. and its cold when you get out there.
Plus, its bad to just get in and go. This lets the engine warm up. My timer is set to 9 minutes, and usually in 5 or 6 its at or close to operating temps.
Plus its a GREAT party piece. Take out a sexy girl and on your way out, CHIRP CHIRP ch-ch-ch vroom (borla impression)
for the money, its well worth it."This truck is 100% sh*ts and giggles."
