My 86 Accord project has me down...

I have yet again decided not to sell the beast... I mean, it needs SO much work, but I really do love it. I just need to fix the stuff!

Here's what I NEED to get/do before it's on the road:

-Head gasket
-head
-Rear springs or CB7 coilovers (sorry chazzworth!!! I still want em when I can afford em, if you have em! ... chazz is being cool and holding onto some rears for me, and I'm being a dick and not sending the money when I say I will )
-Passenger side corner light
-Remove the nasty bubbly blue tint
-replace the hood
-replace at least one radiator hose
-check and possibly replace motor mounts.

Lots of stuff for a guy with limited funds and time! School is over soon, and I won't be going back till fall of 2006, so I should have time!


If anyone can offer some suggestions... places to find parts, whatever, it would be cool. I'm just down about the whole thing and need to talk about it. I need to share my feelings dammit!

peeling of window tint is a easy job with soapy water in a spray bottle and razor blade but use a plastic drywall knife for the back window, it sould take about a hour to do or so

Yeah, that stuff isn't really a big concern. Just makes the car look like poo at the moment.

I need to replace a mirror too... and the windshield (if i can't fix it)

And the lower dash is all busted up.


Bah... little stuff!!! it's just litte stuff, but SO much of it!
