Finally got a job

Yep.....Im a working man again.....I got a job at Exxon Mobil....I worked there as a summer student for a couple summers.....So its good I know the job

Ive been laid off since October.....Havent worked a day since lol.....Ive been building my cb (which should be presentable to you guys very soon) only on unemployment.....So ive been able to buy 1 thing every couple weeks so progress has been excruciatingly slow......but now ill be making 16.50 an hour working 12 hour shift work.....so progress should happen alot quicker

Not to mention I get to finally start paying off bills again and not just make minimum payments.

This isnt the job I want for the rest of my life....but atleast now Ill have some decent money coming in waiting for CN to call me back

Thanks guys.....and Im not sure exactly what Im gonna be doing there as of yet....as there are a few different areas in the factory

But what they do there is produce a petroleum based plastic film.....which is used in anything from chip bags to labels......Im just not sure where Im gonna fit into the whole process.

Exxon Mobile pays very well for the work you'll do (at least on the engineering end of things from the people I know who've worked for them). Interested in hearing what your position is when you get there.

Thats great man. I got laid off in November and I recently landed a really good job too. I know I have the importing thing. But that really does come in waves. I'll make some good money one month, and absolutely nada during the next. So it will be good to have my day job and my import hustle going.

Thanks again guys......To be honest Im not really looking forward to working lol....I havent had time off from either school or work since I was 14 years old....so over the last 9 months Ive taken full advantage of doing absolutely nothing haha....its gonna be tough to break out of that routine.

But me thinks once that first paycheck comes in Ill forget about time off haha
