    hidden cars

so i was at a local jy earlier today looking for parts for my civic, and as soon as i pulled in the yard, i seen the back end of a 93 cb so i went over to it, and much to my amazement, it was in good shape. a few rust spots, but nothing that cant be expected from a north eastern car, so i continued to look around it and looked inside, red interrior with ONLY 151 xxx km!! as soon as i seen that i went to the owner and asked what he wants for it, he said 300. sooooo long story short, looks like there is a damn good chance of me getting back into a cb only thing wrong is lines, such as brake and power steering, but for 300 with papers. i won't complain

Nice i guess for 300 you cant complain but im sure there is something wrong with it that your not seeing, i mean it is in a JY.

Transmission might also be shot, i mean who knows.

You might want to check the VIN before you buy it and make sure it is not a flood, fire, salvage title.

    Just my .02

$300 for a CB coming out a junkyard? So not worth it.

You can buy 100% complete, running CBs for under $1,000 all day long nowadays. What you'll pay to get this thing running would be double what a running car would be. You haven't a clue what the condition of everything in the car is. Figure if it's been sitting for 3 years, you'll need to completely clean out the fuel system, and most likely replace a bunch of seals in the motor.

Drive it save money run it until it dies then start modding it. Until then just make sure it drives properly and gets you from point a to point b.
