you might be wondering why i've took the time to create a thread in an accord forum about a prelude rebuild. though initially it may not seem like it, this build does involve the accord chassis and the future of our little niche community so keep reading.
for those unfamiliar with big mike and his prelude, you need to get yourself out from under the rock you live in! his car graced the cover of honda tuning a few months back. if you are amongst this few you can check out the article here:

with many of the elite and detailed honda builds out there, his build is one of my favorites. i've personally seen the car at its initial stages and to see it transform into what you've seen in honda tuning is nothing short of amazing in my eyes! also having a not-so-common chassis as a foundation makes it that much more sweet. we as accord owners share this i'm sure! with the combination of an f20b on ITBs, choice parts, and clean overall execution, this 4th gen lude brought out the light to the lude community that was dimmed by the popular civic/integ chassis.
mike has now shifted into a different mode to turn this prelude into something more than just his own car which brings me back to the point where it involves our beloved accords. he has partnered with the one and only bisi ezerioha of bisimoto engineering to complete the plans set out. if you don't know bisi you really need to get schooled on today's hondas. here's a start:

we all know the prelude and accord have many interchangeable parts. since mike has started a momentum to show what ludes can do, it will eventually overflow to the accord market. with bisi building parts for both f-series and h-series motors among many other parts, you can be sure the prelude and accord will not be seen as your typical hand-me-down, slow and heavy, potential-less chassis anymore.
this build is being covered exclusively in the chronicles at http://stickydiljoe.com/ . the debut of the build will be at nisei 2009 in downtown los angeles this coming august. there has already been 5 parts (and an interlude) so more to come soon!
