Remove the factory hood cable and relocate it to some where only you know.
Then disconnect the negative batt terminal everytime you jump out of the car (make it a quick release type if you can)
Add a second negative cable to the alarm main earth that you then connect.
That way they can still get into your car (you can't avoid that part), bypass your alarm immobiliser and find they still cant start the car due to no power, go to open the bonnet and, ohh I can't open it . . . I give up I'll go find an easier target.
Simple but effective. It may waste 2mins of your time, and lose all your preset stereo stations and clock, but it works and leaves you with a car to drive the next day.

A "Finished" project car is never finished until its been sold.
If at first you don't succeed, Try again. Don't give up too easily, persistance pays off in the end.

Read on here somewhere that someone set up about 10 kill switches hidden under the dash, that had to be all set in the right random position before the engine can start. If your worried about it being towed away, a good alarm with a tilt sensor will do the trick, also helps for keeping nice rims.
trunky monkey would be the best option.Originally posted by chessboxerWe know these are good cars, but for some reason, all the world wants are freaking civics and tegs. Bleck.
