For having a $500 digital camera, I always forget to take it down to the shop when I go down there. So, I have to use my piece of crap camera phone.. but I should be taking some today when I go take some stuff off the car to paint.

2004 GM Motors White Diamond (Escalde and EXT pearl whtie)

Cadillac actually uses PPG paint, but I get hella discounts on Dupont paint since my neighboor owns a paint store.

It's mixed to match PPG paint, with a few extra numbers just so I can say no one will have my paint code.

Some of the work I did, and my friends uncle did the rest. He can do body work like no other..

The containers are the base maker, activator/reducer, base white paint, the pearl, and clear.

Chroma_Base is great paint. I used to use it for everything before switching to PPG Platinum. Just got a little to expensive down here to keep using Dupont.

Anyone can get a paint job, just takes a lot of working to get that stuff.. ehh I spent a pretty penny on the paint and I still received a 25% discount on it too.

White is a very sexy color! Whether it be flat white, pearl white, white diamond, any white is nice!

November 28th Pictures:

The hood hasn't been cut yet for the CC2 headlights, so the front end isnt going to be sprayed until the end. My buddy club rear hasn't come in yet, but everything is taken off the car to be painted so it's all good.

This is just the base white, no pearl or clear has been sprayed yet. Looks pretty good.

man looks like it really coming along. keep the pics coming as the work progress's. very, very nice work i love the hood, and the color. i guess you were right when u said this time around it would look better than last. also looks like you roof rails are a lot better this time.

My body work looked like ass before.. the guy half assed it so we redid the entire car. There was so much rust that he bondo'd over and we welded all new quarter panels and wheel wells. It took forver to get all the rust fixed and the body straight.

You would never believe how much body filler the guy before used to even out the doors. There is probably about 7 gallons worth of dust on the floors when the sanding was done. Now there is hardly any filler at all, just covering and sealing the weld lines.

see the only thing i dont understand is the wheel well thing. how the hell do you replace the wheel well? theres no rear fender liner, well there is a small one but what do you mean by wheel well? and how exactly did u replace/fix it? i am getting my rear quarters replaced this spring and my rear fender wheel is rusted. but what do you mean by wheel weel? thanks man.
