Wow, that wagon is damn nice! Haven't really considered wagons...

And the M5, as much as I would LOVE to do it... I couldn't rightfully part with that much money now, and it certainly won't be there if I wait to save up!

As for making the car what it is... I'm not going to make this car anything. It's not a project. It's not a tuner. That's the point. I could make my CB7 extremely impressive, if I wanted to... but in the end, it's still 1992 Accord. I like it for what it is, but it doesn't suit this need.

If I could only justify $14k...

And Volvos... I've thought about it... but the last Volvos that I really liked were the 940/740/240... and those are way too old. The newer ones look cool, but I've heard nothing but lame reviews of them.
Just get that shit, you will have speed, comfort/luxury and it will add about 3" to your dick so you will get all the punani you want It seems like a win win situation all around

before i got the cb i was gonna start saving money for a early 90s 5 series wagon

plus the wagon would be great for band gear as well

IMO... saabs and audis have lots of problems. I have a Saab 9-3, it is probably faster than an H22 Accord but not by much... and a lot of stuff also fails on it all the time and is very expensive to get fixed at the dealer... I am literally saving thousands because I know how to replace the stuff myself.
we also had BMWs with the 4.4 V8, we had a 7 series and a 5 series and those are definitely not going to keep up with a properly setup H22 Accord. I also drove numerous 3 series (not the brand new ones though) and they aren't much faster.
IMO if you want an inexpensive RWD that is actually going to be faster than an H22 Accord, look for an LS1 Camaro in good condition.

sc300/sc400. i dont know if your looking to get a 5spd or an auto, but im looking to sell my accord and pick up a lower mileage sc400 myself. they only come in auto so i wont be as ept to want to modify it. the only things i had looked to do to it are lower/wheels/audio and be done and just cruise in it. but i cant seem to get rid of my accord right now so its making things a little difficult.

I'm not really looking for speed alone. A Camaro is... well... a Camaro. I want something classy. I guess that's why I'm looking into an M3. The 330i would be barely faster than the CB7 as it sits. An M3 would be faster. Regardless, a BMW would handle well enough that it'd be fun even if it were a hair slower than the CB7. The CB7 really is plenty powerful to be fun. It's just the lack of refinement that I don't like.

At least I'm not looking for 25mpg this time!

And I will NOT get an auto. Anything. Unless it's a GT-R. And if you can find me an $8,000 GT-R, I'll buy it right now

540i autos are like low 14 second cars boss man...

No normal N/A H22 Accord w/full interior, A/C, P/S comes close. Maybe squirts from light to light but definitely not on the highway.

Deev... drive a 540i. I am gonna go check one out as soon as I sell my car.
