Thats a helluva a car and has ALOT of potential.
The iron headed LT1 in it is a beast of a motor. Yes the car is heavy but with the potential of the motor in it theres nothing that the weight will bother.
Get a set of aluminum LT1 heads and send em off to lloyd elliot for the LE2.5 kit and drop em on with a set of impala OEM LT1 head gaskets and with and intake/headers/exhaust you'll be screaming in that car. Also swap out the rear gears for some 3.73s or 4.10s I had a 94 formula that had the aluminum headed LT1 in it and I put the time and money in it and the end result was WELL worth it
