        very true

parts for the 5th gen accord is very easy to find in japan

but parts for our 4th gen accord is very hard to find, sadly most of them have been crushed in the junkyards or already shipped over here

our cars are becoming classic's.. they are very old
thus the parts are very hard to find, which make the rare parts more valuable

i wish all of the lowballers on the internet would understand this

hopefully the guys at RHDjapan can hook us up
cuz i know its getting harder and harder for me to find parts to bring over here

Those guys at RHDJapan either have an endless amount of capital, or are very, very confident in the market. They're aspirations of importing cars from Japan and making the necessary modifications to make them 50 state compliant is VERY difficult to achieve.

Obtaining Registered Importer status is cake. Its performing the actual modifications is whats a bitch. The process of getting a car compliant is arduous and NOT easy. It wasn't when MotoRex was importing skylines, and even more so when They began committing fraud and got caught, screwing the industry in the process. They have to crash test each and every car they are willing to import. Can you imagine Smashing three S15's just to see what you have to do in order to make it "compliant"? That smarts. and after the RI finds out what has to be done, they have to crash test the finished product to make sure it is compliant.

After the car's been modified, a licensing package is sent to the DOT and NHTSA for approval. A process that takes months.

Its a long wait, and VERY expensive. I cant see it proving to be lucrative, much less profitable.

The Cost of Three S15's to be crash tested: $18,000
The Cost of the actual crash testing: ????? Does it sound cheap?
          Cost of modifications: ????
Then you have the cost of the actual car: $6,000.

Yeah, I think they're parts may be on the pricey side.

Who knows, maybe they do have lots of capital to get all that off the ground. The founder of MotoRex was lent a million dollars back in 2000 by a friend in Japan. Maybe they're just as lucky. Lets just hope they don't blow it all on crack, meth, hookers and actually put it to converting the cars, instead of sending them to clients untouched!

JDM Sidemarkers wasnt on the list
What about JDM Door Trim / Moulding?
                JDM 2 Piece Headlights
                Si-T bumper lights

Also just a thought but you should tell them to pick up variations of the item like both auto and manual clusters, coupe and sedan door mouldings, 90-91 specific and 92-93 specific

well we can only hope and see....... but you have to remember that they are a business and they have to make some profit off of what they buy and sell..... so i honestly dont think the prices are going to be that insane.... i mean a set of fogs over seas cost 45 bucks... yes thats right they are that cheap but shipping them is what costs... i mean hell if i had delta sky smiles i would fly up to japan with an empty suit case and bring back about 20 sets but thats not the case sooooooo.... deal i guess lol..... but i'll hit them up on email and see what they say toward pricing... k fellas?? i'll post up the price list and you guys let me know if its pricey or not but dont be rediculous ok guys
