Free Food!

Well today I went to McDonalds drive thru, ordered my food, drove up to the first window and paid, than drove up to the second window and waited for my food. I usually get 1 or 2 items missing that I ordered and paid for, so everytime I go thru I ask the person at the window to double check and make sure that my complete order is in the bag, she checks and says, "it looks like you need straws", so she grabs a couple and tosses them in.

Taking her word for it I drive away and head home, Once I get home I realize that I am missing a McChicken w/cheese (they charge you extra) I am missing honey for my daughters chicken nuggets AND I have 4 STRAWS!!!

Fed up I grab the bag and dial the number on the side of it, some annoying woman answers and keeps apologizing for my misfortune, than she offers to make it up to me by sending me a "booklet" of various "dine in for free Large meals". I accept and forgave McDonalds.

Anyway I just thought I would let everyone know, so next time if you have an issue with a major fast food chain, take it up with customer service, theres a good chance that you'll get free food! My McChicken was only like $1.25 and I got a good $10 dollars worth free food in coupons so it worked out for me!

I never ever leave the window without checking everything is exactly as I ordered it.

I usually order a big mac meal without mac sauce and onions and with extra cheese on it.....7 times outta 10 they fuck it up.....so i sit at the window and lift up everything on the big mac to make sure its good before I leave.

I usually go there after the main store closes so its a pain in the ass getting shit fixed.....not to mention my mcdonalds sucks balls and I usually have to wait 10-15 min to get my food through the drive thru.

Sweet deal on free food though....I shall try calling next time.

Our McDonalds is soo busy that if have your food and dont move people start screaming and yelling, so I really dont get a chance to look over my order, not to mention my 1/2 hour lunch limits me to how much I can complain at that moment.

Sorry but no free food coupons, only if they mess up your order and you call it in or if you plain lie to them and say the messed up your order! Your choice

they (not just mcdonalds, but all the big fast food places) usually always give you free food if you call and bitch em out about their mistakes

Most companies will give you free stuff if you complain. Once.

I decided to try this when I was a kid. I got a free 12 pack of Coke
Then, a year later, I bought a 12 pack, and 2 cans were empty. Not visibly open... just empty! I called and complained. They said "this is your second time with a similar issue" (I made it up the first time... ironic that it actually happened a year later). I got a coupon for a free 20oz Coke.

I also called the phone company and said a payphone ate my quarter. I now have a check lying around for 25 cents from the phone company. Made out to Mr Bob Jenkins.

It was like that when I lived in Ft lauderdale but in Coral Springs most the fast food joints workers are polite and speak proper English. Ask Jarhead, he was so impressed with my Chik-fil-A that he mnoved down the street from me
