        I think it looks ridiculous.

Oh, and that owner has style, just not a very good one.

        The wheels ARE nice though.

When will people stop using cartoons and brand names as themes for their cars?

Ok... the OP is criticizing a particular style... why are we bashing his car directly? He doesn't like something. Big deal. No need to get butthurt about it. If you don't agree, say you don't agree... or don't fucking post. The next person to make this personal will see everyone that I'm referring to here gets banned for a week. The next person to make this personal will be banned permanently.

slamming a car, rusting one out, DONKS, and body kits and all is all personal preference. that BMW does look good for some odd reason to me. it really does. just like a few VWs that have the rusted theme going.

                  this pic tho:

i think its mainly the rims and the drop that make the car. if it was on stock rims and stock height, it would be a stupid looking car. or some would be saying "he just got that out of a junk yard and is using it for a DD." granted. it is a nice car tho. i like. but the 1st one better tho. im more "gloss" paint type. i wash my car i want it to shine. i couldnt bring myself to ruin a paint job by rusting it out....

I think that rust is like the worst thing that could happen to the exterior of a car (besides being crashed of course). I get rid of rust at all costs and people actually do it on purpose? What do they just sandblast it to bare metal, spray it with water, and let it sit? Ridiculous.

TypeG, what do you think about this?

Wasn't bashing his car Deev. Simply making a point; He doesn't like that particular style, some may not like his particular style. I like both doughboy's car, and the rusted rat rod look. As long as it flows, it's nice in my books.

I think it looks okay because if i didn't see it here with the convo beforehand, i would think it was a matte burnt orange.

But i think just about anything low with offset-less wheels looks good.

i wonder what a bare metal CB would look like.... Clear coated of course. No rust for me.

Yea that would be kinda cool to see. Even clear coated, it probably would still get some kind of corrosion to it from the clear coat itself.

Now maybe a thin coat of some type of aluminum or stainless steel like the DeLorean would look pretty cool if that is even possible to do. DeLorean's actually were made of a fiberglass underbody with non-structural S.S. panels over it. If brushed S.S. panels could be made to fit right on top of each of the car's body, I think that would look pretty cool.

The panels would be a bitch to bend to the exact shape though. Someone would have to be a master at using a brake and english wheel.
Hmm I have envisions of stainless steel body panels with perfectly spaced, exposed stainless steel rivets kinda like a airplane.

I have even pondered the idea of painting a car some type of gun metal/brushed aluminum color and using rivets along the edges just for looks.
I'm going to create something in photoshop.

awesome idea with the rivets. but could you generously apply something to the metal to protect it? like dipping every removable part in to whatever it would be.
