    my Happy Day !

well, i am not getting straight to the point because i want to enjoy every moment of this

I'll start off by last Friday when i went to my occasional junk yard nearby town to get A/C parts ( havent had a/c for a yr , and the weather finally caught up to me ) .
i talk to the owners and asked if they have gotten any accords lately, he says no but he is ordering one that was hit in the back (yr1991, mines a 92) and its coming Monday morning ( today ). i said OK and thinking to my head that i am not coming back

    fast forward to today :
i am debating in my mind if i should go to the J/Y after school or if i should just call ( to see if the car came ), but i decide to go

i go to the front desk and get a disappointing answer that he hasn't ordered it yet.

on my way back i notice this accord outside -

i take a look around at it thinking its actually pretty clean , then i notice the front bumber !

i was like no way , this is defiantly a customers car , but being desperate... i go back to the front desk and ask if the white car was junker

he said " well not yet... ( damn ) once the insurance clear's it over to us, he could salvage it ( YAY !!)

i asked whats wrong with it , he just tells me to take a look at the under the hood ..
he told me if i wanted to see it, i could reserve parts off it , i was like hellz ya

i go take a lookie and open to door to find ... well first i saw this

    then i saw the inside

so after my amazement of seeing the "cleanest junk mobile" ever, i asked how much the whole interior. the guy told me everything but the dash for 100 bucks !, u pull and pay ( included seats , carpet, door panels, headliner, visers, etc )

i asked the fogs ( cuase i wan them ) , he told me that he has to see them before pricing them, he also asked if it was OEM or aftermarket?

and i could get the visor for 10 bucks.

in the end i can't pull parts until tomorrow( or when ever the ins clears ) ,

the int. Fogs and Visor are mine and i placed a down payment... so back off , other than that there was two 3" rips on the sewing of the leather with the occasional wear and tear. but for 100 bucks , i am not passing up

oh yeah , the engine..... it was caught on fire , i was actually able to start it but after a few second of idling high, it died ........

yeah the rims had crazy curb rash , so don't ask

Too bad you couldn't just buy the entire car. Then part it out or use the parts as ya need em.

    Good find.

nah , i'ma not gonna buy it the whole thing, the motor would just become a money pit and its another cb i would have to take care of

even though the car was rust free, mine is in a muchhhh better condition and i am only interested the interior and fogs.

btw i did get the fogs, harness, and the sunroof visor for $30 !

also i saw a Mitsubishi 3000, (i think a 94) that they had just received today, it was sitting next to the honda,
it looked clean , one of the workers was messing with. It was cranking slowly , he told me he thinks it has no compression

i'll try to get a pic tomorrow, while getting my stuff
