so i was machining a lamborghini flywheel

and as i applied too much pressure on it (had to cut around .050") the brand new stone decides to grenade and blow up.

good thing the shield was up, otherwise i wouldve had intestines spewing onto the floor

0.5mm Oversized Stainless valves and bronze guides available. Pm me please.

im not sure but the crankshaft is 15,000 dollars. luckily the flywheel was salvagable so my boss just slapped on a new grinding wheel and kept on going except i let him finish it this time

i did the last one of the day. my boss said that hes never exploded one in his 30 years of machining

thats because machinist are usually pretty hardcore and work by themselves because you cant trust anyone's work. on top of that, they work till they are like 85 years old or die of cancer because we are around so many chemicals.
