the only thing ps3 has going for it is blue ray, free psn and free online gaming. if you are going to play shooters get a 360 if you are playing racing games or games like metal gear then get a ps3. honestly for the price i'd get an xbox. who cares if you have to pay for online use at least they ban cheaters). it really depends on what you play though


the wii is just garbage. figured they would make SOME decent games bt no. all they have is zelda and possibly The Conduit.


btw i do have all 3 systems plus a ds lite(with r4 card) and psp(hacked). gamer family lol

i mostly agree with this.

wii is good if you like to hack your systems. i personally have a wii and hacked it and it can play homebrew games from dreamcast, sega cd, n64, ds, even playstation 1, and of course sega snes , nes , game boy etc. soo if u like emulation . the wii is nice. personally my psp is my emulation beast except for n64 and dc thats what my wii is for.

the fact is that both systems have shorcomings, whether pre-mentioned game , or blu ray availability, free internet, etc., which are the strong points on either spectre, and still after so many years, the arguemnets continue n will for game console generations to come

but theres yet a video game that will utilize the full potential to the ps3. thats why there isnt many games for the ps3 yet compared to 360. the ps3 is for those who know real video games and the whole system was based to target the hardcore of hardcore gamers. sony even lost money to sell their product because the cost to build that counsel is more then their asking price.

the average joe probably cant tell the difference between the 2 systems because they dont know what to factor in between the 2.

one day when GT5 finally comes out, it will reign on all real simulation games.

blueray is a big plus because its taking over the dvd market. people pay hundreds of dollars to buy a good blueray dvd player, for a couple hundred more you can get an ultimate system.

I heard that KillZone2 utilizes 1080p and that it looks phucking phenomenal. Any one ever play it?

How about this, If you answer YES to any of the following, DONT waste your money on a PS3.

IF you're going to play mostly video games
IF you have a Regular ol' CRT TV and plan on using the yellow/white/red inputs.
Aren't going to use the console for multimedia purposes, (music, movies, pictures, etc etc)

Then the PS3 is too much for what you need. If you just want to play games. get a wii. 360 is not worth in imo. Its rediculous how Microsft charges you for every fucking thing. Wanna play via wifi? You gotta buy that, and this, and that, and another one of those.

Online gaming is a right, not a privilege. It shouldnt cost a damn thing.
