whats the best windows7 version right now?

    I have the 32 bit 7077

    i read that x64 7068 is crap

and then the release candidate came out and then 7100 7105 7106...

so which one is the most stable and what should i get. And doesn't anyone know anything about these magnet links....

My brain is fried right now due to finals (also probably from prior drug use)

I think im going to go with the 7077 64 bit and the 7100 32 bit for some of my computers... i thought about putting it on my server but its not practical.

also what anti virus is the best?

i use AVAST anti virus. i think it is the best one out there it never gets in the way of the computer trying to think i like that, and it catches shit that AVG doesn't

and I like the fact that Avast will say "A virus has been detected" or "virus database updated"

I think I have 7100, I use avira antivirus, uses less resources, has less notifications (it does have 1 or 2 annoying popups though) I used to use AVG and that turned to bloated shit-ware.

Show me something you can do on Vista that you can't do on XP, that isn't totally rediculous like "have Vista give you an experience rating!"

Also, I'm pretty damn sure you're not going to get any chicks with a "Gui'd out" Laptop with Windows 7... If I tried to show that off to my wife, she would roll her eyes.

Windows XP doesn't ask permission to ask permission! Beat that XP!

                          Agreed.

Also, been using NOD32 for some time now. Quite unobtrusive.
Probably would miss some stuff that Norton/Kaspersky would find, but NOD is a heck of a lot lighter.
