has this ever happened to you?

it's raining, and then you go and park your car, people walk by and see what they think is "smoke" coming off the hood get all scared and tell you "there's smoke coming from your car", but in actuality, it's the water on the hood evaporating because of honda's lack of hood lining?

    it's funny

sorry for the run on sentence

Whoa, that's what causes it? I used to get so freaked out by that, thinking my poor car was overheating.

My first 3G used to do that too. It was especially funny in the winter time when it was snowing, and the snow on the hood over the valve cover would melt away, leaving a nice little patch of paint visible.

Heh...yeah...I get the looks from people sometimes because of it. Especially when it snows...

You know how the WRXs got that little spray of washer fluid for "enhanced performance"...well I like to think it Honda's way of sayin "washer fluid? we dont need no stinkin washer fluid."
