what is exhaust tucking?

Ive heard this term just few times and dim not completely sure what it is or how is it done. Can someone shed some light on this?

Im assuming it is have the piping closer to the underbody which would be great for really low cars

yea i heard about this to.... you cut the hangers shorter so the exhaust doesnt hang as low.

I think its a combination of shorter hangers, and dumping the exhaust mid-car as well.

Exhaust tucking is when you are making the Exhaust invisible in a sence. Just as it is with wire tucking. Cutting the hangers, "Dumping the exhaust", or just have the exhaust shortened with a turn down so that the exhaust is not visible.

I can't remember the company but the made a nice Turn Down canister specifically for the RX8 that I have been trying to find in a universal application. I am thinking it was 5zigen or Tanabe

Oh ok, well my middle hangers close to the cat is loose right now, the rubber came off but even with the rubbers on I think my exhaust hang low because I scrape over almost every bump. I wonder how much my muffler would charge me to do that

I got quotes for around 100 to weld up a whole kteller catback, so to fix one hanger should cost next to nothing.
