    could i use these ? - 2 GE ballast

    i have two of these heavy ballast from GE , my boss wanted to throw them away but before he did i took them and maybe find use for them
    on the car

    i believe they were made for florescent lights

    here is a similar pic i found , not mine



    could i use these for anything , open to suggestions

      Need to know more details - 12V, 240V? amperage rating? Possibly could be used for flouro lighting but couldn't say for sure without details.

      What were the originally used for?

        You can use them for florescent lights.. Thats what its made for..Just throw it out or recycle it..

            yeah most buildings throw them away for better efficient ones. they are found in florcent lights in the middle where the hump is

              oh okay i see, soo with these ballast , i cant really retrofit them as HID's ,
