Hee haw - No
Seriously, does someone deserve to die for burglary - I think not.

Eg a 5yo kid steals a 2c item - Is he worthy to be killed - No Did he make a stupid mistake -Yes
If its a serious criminal activity then theres certain things where I can justify death (IMO) but It will always be debatable.

The level of competency of the person also has bearing on the deserved outcome of their actions. A 5 year old kid doesn't necessarily have the mental capacity to understand the consequences of his actions. A 5 year old kid will touch the hot stove and get burned before he knows it's dangerous. A grown man should have this knowledge already.
In this case, the guy climbed a barbed wire fence... clearly meant to keep people out. Regardless of how dark it was, at that distance, he should have known what the fence was surrounding... and even then, he should have known to avoid the equipment inside the fence!
Does he deserve to die for being a tire theif? No. Absolutely not.
Does he deserve to die for being stupid? No. Nobody DESERVES to die... but he DID die for being stupid. And that's that.

almost as crazy as what was on the news yesterday!
2 kids stole a car stereo...while driving back to his house they talked about it all the way. Showed up at the house with 2 cops in the front yard.
Cops said, alright give us the radio.
Kid was like how did you know?
Apparently he dialed 911 on his cell phone in his pocket when he fled the scene. and they recorded it all!

Hold up guys. Deserving to ********** implies that another person is passing judgment or sentencing or what ever on another person. If your saying "He didn't deserve to die" and it was because of his own actions, then you must imply a second person who is in control of his actions. God in other words.
This guy did not deserve to die. He deserved to be tried and found guilty in our justice system. It just so happens he made a really dumb mistake. Actually, he made a series a lesser mistakes, until he made a series of more serious mistakes which led to his final mistake of hiding in the place with the "DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE" signs everywhere.
You don't just go form a normal law abiding (not everyone is perfect Yes I know this) to someone who steel tires off cars and runs from the police. It just doesn't happen.
I believe what he was doing to himself finally caught up. I don't feel bad that he died, I feel bad that this person couldn't see the value in his own life over some tires.Been a long time. Still alive...
