I think every person who ever owns a car let alone a CB7 (19 years and counting) goes through this stage at some point of there ownership. I also was at the point of giving up on my CB7, first the Clutch line, then the brakes, then the stupid fuel pump for the 3rd time, and even better when it rains( and that's a lot here in the southern East Coast) water in the trunk and I know there's many here that can relate to that same problem and let alone all in this happening in the same month. Overwhelming can you say? I saw it like the perfect opportunity to get that dream ride i had been wanting for so long 350z, what happen, I ran into other CB7's in the street that looked like straight booty, I felt it was my duty to represent and I kept it! There is so much history in my ride, 3 cross country's on the H22A4 swap (from Cali to FL and back.... and back again), and weekend trip for a 2 straight years from SC to FL( I learned every bump on the I95). Man, I mean that's a lot of quality time if you see where I'm getting at. As humans have are ups and down. FYI what helped also was I ended up picking up a EG 95 coupe instead of the Z and throwing in a GSR swap in it that same weekend of purchase. So cause of this, it's bought me lee way and time to pay even closer attention to my CB7, now I can do everything with patients just like JDM inspired said. Plus it's also good to have great friend to lend you a hand LOL. The Z will have to be at another time, maybe LOLLast edited by "sleepin"; 04-07-2009, 01:36 AM.
