Smoking survey for class

I smoked for over twenty years. A pack a day minimum. Camels with and without the filters, wides, lights, Marlboro reds, Pall Mall, Lucky Strikes, some others. I gave tobacco up on January 14th, 2008 for good. It was hard, one of the toughest things I've ever done, and it was super easy; I just didn't have another cigarette. After fifteen months, I still crave one once in a while. Whole days will go by that I want a cigarette, but it passes. I never smoked with the windows closed in the coupe, never left a butt in it, the ashtray has never seen a cigerette, and when people get in the car now, they always comment on how clean she smells, and she does. She almost smells new. I have friends that won't smoke in her because she smells so good.
For all you younger guys that smoke, give it up now. I don't know what you're paying, but here, the generics are about $5. That's $150 a month if you smoke a pack a day. How long would it take you to start hooking up your ride at $150 a month? $1800 a year. $5 a day.
I'm an idiot, imagine if I had simply stuck my pack a day money in the bank for twenty years.
*edit* - right now, I'd punch someone in the face for a Thompson's Rum Punch Cigar. I miss those delicious wild cherry bastardsLast edited by visualpoet; 03-30-2009, 07:54 PM.
