Skimming this thread I got "I got really high and pimped my push mower" out of your post lol

this is similar to what i am being inquired to build.

As to why i was chosen.. i guess he likes my styling.. and maticulous work...?
As to why i am unsure.. he is a close friend..

But this has opened my mind to a new deminsion in styling and power of acceleration, which is needed for this sport.

After really going over some of my drawings and diagrams i have made,, we have decided to use mountainbike springs for front and rear shocks, etc... the list goes on,, and adding up the actual cost for him, really isn't that much.

i can see how a person could really get into this sport.
the building of the chasi and motor and then racing it in whatever class you would preffer really does give the same adrinaline rush as building and racing cars... except it's about 20-30 times cheaper and more legal..

so i'll keep this thread posted with any updates that may render from this new endevour.

Cool. I definitely want to see what you can do!

That green one is pretty badass... and knowing how awesome your valve cover designs are, I can definitely see you coming up with something even better than that.

And yeah, it's basically just like go kart racing... but using a totally different chassis. It's more "tuner" than go karts, because like we do with our family cars, it's turning something into a race machine that was never intended to be that way.

i built my mtd tradesman mower to race but never did.

bakically you can quilfy in different classes and different setups

what i did was just put a murry 5 speed trans axle on the mtd which already have a varible belt drive. but a 5 inch pulley on the transaxle and a 8 inch on the engine. wiled up a trigger throttle on the steering whell and took the govner off. and then i drove a bolt through the front steering system so the tractor don't lean on turns.

basically i got the thing hauling around 40 mph with around 25 bucks worth of mods

            haha this reminds me.

I blew the engine on my mower!!!

the grass was too tall and I was still ramming it in there I guess it couldn't take the sress and just blew up.

all kinds of white smoke came out and there was an awesome amount of knocking.

oh and my dad got really pissed now I need to fix up the back up mower.

You live in TN and never heard of people racing lawn mowers?

It is kinda fun to watch, but I would rather drive a go-kart.
