so i was wondering how many people have gotten a dui i know im not the only one here..

mine was aug 28 04 in my honda and the reason he said he pulled me over was loud exhaust.... he folled me from the bar

i got one after smoking an integra in my buddies maxima a few years back. caught me doing 75 in a 50. i had about a 5 block lead on the cops and was pretty close to making a run for it, i floored it for about two blocks but then i pulled over instead. i knew i was busted.

that was the stupidest most expensive mistake i have ever made.
lesson learned. the hard way.

no matter how much a taxi or a hotel room might cost, its still cheaper than a dui.

Glad to see you learned your lesson. Too many people blame the law like they are at fault.

In my mind, DUI punishment should be much harsher. People in this country abuse there privileges way to much.

I got mine when I was 27 or 28. I'd only had 4 or 5 Molson Ice in a three or four hour period (My usual level of intake was 12 a night, and party on the weekends) I didn't even feel drunk. I'd dropped a CD, bent over to get it, and he pulled me for weaving in my lane. I passed the feild sobriety tests and he said he'd still like me to akt the breathalizer. .019. I asked him where he was all the nights I drove home with one eye closed.

Oddly, the DUI killed my urge to drink.

just reading that made me think people aren't all like you and understand they are caught and know they messed up.

i know a guy that works at my job (sara lee delivering bread for a living) he got a dui coming home from the casino's one night and he got to keep his job just had to have someone drive him around for 3 months and now is only on a 6 month probation. he still gets drunk everyday after work and has 3 kids he watches while he is doing it. this is an example of how sometimes the system lets people go and he should of gotten more time or harsher punishment than he did
