I've been looking at a couple guns and was wondering if anyone knows what the laws for buying a handgun are in WA.....do I need to get a concealed weapons permit first or what? I am thinking I will already be fucked because of a juvenile conviction over stupid bullshit.

the thing is i thought my record was sealed. nothing ever showed up when i went to get a job or an apartment. then i was getting my private guard license and they almost denied me. i was pissed because my lawyer said 2 years after my conviction they can seal the records and he would do it free of charge. wellthis was in TXand i movedright after all that shit happened. its been like damn, 6 or 7 years now. i had called him and he said e cant seal it. so idk wtf to do about it.VIP Status.

I don't know how Washington is, but in North Carolina, you have to purchase a handgun purchase permit that's good for buying one pistol. You buy them from the sheriff's department. However, if you get your concealed weapons permit, you'll just have to show your permit to the clerk where you buy the pistol and you can have the gun immediately. I took and passed the class and just need to apply for my permit now. Good luck with it.
