If people would read the thread, this thread is not bout giving someone the knowledge of what is or isn't functional. This thread is about not bashing peoples self representation. A car is an extention of ones self. I made my CB JDMish in a sence but never went around bashing people on alteezas or Large wings.

I can comment on this due to the fact that when I had my CB I went JDM because I felt that was the way to go. Now that I have a 240sx I went with a kit because I feel that it looks better with a kit.

All in all, To Each his own.

yeah. JDM is a fad everyone is doing. just like the one guy who was the 1st cb ive ever seen to get a Legend lip. then everyone got one. now practicly everyone up here either has a legend lip, Mugen style lip, Greddy lip, or for the cali boys that rare lip aww_shiet has. theres nothing different anymore. i even asked Landon(turbomaxx) to use his design for the double lip he did. looks PERFECT on the cb he had. and im the only one rocking it up here and i hope it stays like that.

You start a thread talking about not bashing people, and now you're bashing on people? For the record, I can think of less than 8 members on here that have the Gracer, which is just about as many as the Erebuni/Sigma lip that you mention the "cali boys" having.

Billie and Mr.Phil are the only ones up here rocking the Civic/Accord front bumper(with billie being the originator with the front AND rear bumper that way). and i hope it stays that way.

some honda owners are getting into rusting their hoods or other body panels out like the VW guys. i think its stupid. all because we honda heads try to get rid of rust. lol. but hey. its their thing. their car. will i down them for that? no. will i bash him for doing it? no. reason? because it's that person's taste. not mine. im all for my car having no more than 2 colors. that one color for the body and interior and 1 or 2 colors for accents. but thats MY taste.

i didnt bash. if i bashed i would have been rude. i just stated my opinion. which is what this thread is about. if you have an opinion, state it. but be subtle about it. the rusting hoods thing is backwards in my eyes. but hey. it their car and most of them make it look good. once again, as i said, im not bashing. simply stating its not my style but it doesnt matter its their car.

i feel you man. all-in-all, the person driving the car shouldnt worry about what others think of it. YOU think its cool. thats the point. i like to be more subtle with my car, it has 2 colors at the most(one color for the rims and one color for the car) and others like doughboy like the show type. its the the different type of styles that keep the tuner world alive. you go to a car show, you'll all types of different styles. i give the lowriders mad props because ive seen their shows and ive yet to see anything thats the same as the next car.


when it comes down to it, you see a new person join the site, dont go pointing out every bad thing on his car that you dont like. dont go telling him "hey. you should get some red/clears and a mugen lip. get rid of those ricer altezza taillights and that stupid body kit." if they dont ask for you opinion, and you have nothing but a bad one, dont give it.
