Northeast Winter Storm Post pics!!!

So over the weekend all the buzz was about the winter storm...i woke up yesterday morning and only found a slight cover on the ground, made me want to laugh. So i ended up hitting up some junkyards with Jak_frostwhite and found this at one of them...





The rest of the day was pretty much clear and the flurries didn't start til i got out of work.

I figured it wouldn't really come down too but then i woke up to this...

i didn't get squat in Cincy, at about ~4am it was there was a slight amount of flurries but that's all. At noon it was about mid 50s. it felt great in the sun.

I made a thread like this a little while ago also. You got nothing there! We have drifts here that are like 4 feet.

I guess I will post my pics in this thread too. By the way, these pics are not in Queens. I am at my parents house in Long Island right now. I don't think Queens got hit nearly as hard.

Down here we got about 3'' overnight. Right now the sun is going down, and almost all the snow is gone.

All the snow on the roads had melted by noon.

true. i work as an auto detailer 6 days a week with sunday my only day off. it was nice to have an extra day off for a change.

Lets keep it that way lol we don't need anymore down here lol, oh yea the pool hasnt been functional in a while...if it were up to me i'd tear it down and make a garage :-)

I noticed it after i posted...the pics were taking for ever to upload and my computer was being sooo slow!

But man its crazy how we're not really that far away but you get a hell of alot more snow than us!

I'm just glad i was off today i hate driving in the snow and you know they do a crappy ass job of cleaning up around here, but hey atleast the work will be steady

I can say we got a good amount, but nothing like the other northeastern states.
The morning was pretty nasty, streets and highways didnt really get cleaned up till like noon.
Work was dead! dont know why i even went in.

Sucks i didnt take any pics of all this.

Maybe next year.

It seems like South jersey only gets hit once a year around this time.
