anyone that does chipped computers with a immobilizer key

Okay i jujst brought another car and my friend needs some info on it. He has the same kind of car and it has an immobiulizer key on it.

And you have to have the ecu match the vin I brought another ecu for the car because it didnt come with one. The car is in immaculate condition. Now as far as getting it programmed thats dealership territory correct?

To my understanding the skim has to match the vin on both the computer and the key in order for the car to get energized. So i plan to get the key and skim to match how much should this process cost around?

It's going to take a dealer or a really skilled thief...

But yeah, knowing what car you're talking about will help. It's unlikely that anyone on here knows offhand, but knowing what we're talking about could help someone figure it out for you.

i know how to program any honda or acura up to 2001. other than that you're on your own.

If you are trying to program an immobilizer key you will need to take all the keys to the dealership, a dealership computer links all your keys to your computer. This is not the same as programming a remote/standard keys. Programming a remote can be done by anyone and is fairly simple. The reason immobilizer vehicles are so secure is the fact that you must have the dealer computer.
