Tired of my of at&t..need opinions.

im tired of my ridiculously high bill. I have an iphone 3g and my bill is over $100 and i have like 300mins with roll over and 1500 text. Thats not a good deal!

Im looking at Boost Mobile, they have a plan thats Unlimited everything for only $50. Does anybody here have that? i used to have boost before and i wonder if the service is good?

What other providers and phones u think i should look into?

I heard that boost service sucks . I have AT&T and I always have great service even in the subway most of the time. I pay $70 a month for unlimited phone and text. I also heard that Verizon service is pretty good.

I have AT&T, and I'm sick of my high bill too...

Verizon was the plan, but I'm considering Metro PCS. They have unlimited talk and text for $40 a month, no contracts. So if I don't like it, I can just go to Verizon. I've toughed it out with AT&T for the past year, because I signed a 2 year contract.
They give you crap phones that won't last 2 years, "allow" you to upgrade halfway through the contract, but only if you sign another 2 year contract!

lol we have metro pcs over here. 60 bucks gets you unlimited everything. the service is alright. nothing too great. i never had complaints with them until now. i hate motorolas...i wish they had some decent nokias again. moto's suck balls

i have to agree my att service is good, but the 3g service isn't what they make it seem on the commercials. I've been with them for over a year and I too have a 2 year contract. I just got my $500 deposit like a month ago.

i guess i just want a lower bill and something new...

Yeah, motorola used to be the best... But my Razr didn't last me a year and a half.

I'm using an old Nokia that uslspct loaned me. Old as dirt, and beat to hell... but it works just fine! (when it's not saying "insert smart chip" that is...)

AT&T and Verizon have basically the same rates. The service varies between the two.
I spend my time selling both so i have experience with both.

Verizons customer service is usually better though. But it depends on your situations.

Boost blows. Just like Nextel/Sprint. Customer service sucks. Network sucks.
and your not paying as much with Boost so your basically in the back of every line.

And to the OP, your paying too much because of the Iphone.
Their minimum plan right now is $40 for 450 minutes. $30 for Iphone internet. $15 for 1500 messages.

thats $85 bucks before taxes. which should put you at around $94 after.
You may have an older plan which could have you paying more than you need to.

I would call and see about switching to the plan i layed out if your not already.
If that doesn't help, sell the Iphone on Ebay and get yourself a decent phone WITHOUT
internet and you'll save $35 a month.

And Iphones can go for anything under $599 which is retail for the 8gb model.
$699 for the 16gb. so you could easily get away with paying less and having $400 to toss
around how you like.

we've got something called "Cricket" over here where it's like 45 bucks a month for unlimited text and minutes but the service area isn't as wide or as strong as verizon.

not sure about you guys but have you checked to see if your work provides discounts for using their service? like i work for a grocery chain in Cincy here and i get 20% discount on my bill every month which is a very nice chunk of change off my bill.

i know, i didnt pay as much with my original iphone. What sucks is that i didn't even notice a change of internet speed. I rarely use my web on my phone anyways.

damn i really wanted to have bleep again, but i don't want something with bad service. Do they still say wait till the nextel subscriber.....because that sucked.

lowest plan you could get is 450 min for 39.99 and your 1500 txt for 15.00 and with the storm or any other pda/bb for that matter you would have to have a 29.99 data plan so about 85.00 before taxes.
