    Mustang steering problems

Ok so my girlfriend bought a 97 mustang v6. We drove it home and put a new tire on it since it was on a doughnut. The steering was weird to begin with but we figured it was just the spare tire causing it. Ok so there's a new tire on it and still it drives messed up. We took it to an alignment shop and they said it was the inner tie rod ends and the ball joints. For parts and labor and everything they want 630.00. Does this seem right or should we look elsewhere. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Brandon

That sounds like a good deal to me. Of course, I would just do it myself and save even more money....

Yeah I would do it myself but my tools got stolen. They would be better parts than what came on the car according to Gipson's because they would have grease fittings on them where you could keep them greased instead of waiting on them to wear out again but money is tight right now.
