i was offered a 91 4 door AT for $200 and i took a look at it and the driver side wheel is sitting sidways in the wheel well so im guessing its the ball joint or control arm?? and if it is how much would it run me to fix.. i didnt get a chance to look at the mile's on it though but looked in good shape.

so how much would it run me to fix and is it worth it?? i did buy my coupe with no rust for $400 lol

If it's the upper control arm/ball joint then it's not too hard to work on and shouldn't cost much to get one from a junkyard. I won't speak for the lower control arm as I've never replaced them before.

For $200, if the motor runs, it's worth it!

The sideways wheel is most likely a failed lower ball joint. That can happen while the car is in motion, too... really scary!
Ask the seller what happened when the car broke. Make sure there's no serious frame damage or anything. Shouldn't be, if there wasn't any impact... but slamming to the ground could do some damage. (other things could get damaged too... brakes, oil pan, other suspension components, etc...)

Still, for $200... you could fix it and sell it, fix it and drive it, or part it out... either way, you're going to come out ahead!
