When you start out the morning smoking and continue through the day, every day, what would you call it? When you disappear from work 3-4 times a day to get high, what would you call it. I have had to work around them for years in multiple places and, yes, they are addicts.

I don't mean to speak for him but it didn't seem that he was taking issue with it being posted, only the ridiculous "defense" the person who originally posted was responding with.

However, it doesn't matter. The conversation should stop because people obviously have different view points on the issue. My brother lives like a vegetable alone in a house my parent's pay for having everything provided to him because his pot smoking and alcoholism prevent him from functioning like an intelligent human. But, people who are able to live life without it controlling them will still defend it. Maybe they should. Bt like I said, no one cares what anyone else says. You have your own opinion and that's what you'll live by.

The legal argument is a little short-sighted, though. You should still have some tact about yourself to consider others' viewpoints. Abortion is legal in most places but if someone posted a picture of an aborted fetus on this board people who flip out. That's an extreme analogy, but it carries my point. Legality isn't everything when you're conversing with people with differing viewpoints. It's why topics on religion and politics are advised against on this forum.

thats why employers drug test, there plenty of "legal" prescribed stuff people take that impairs them..and if that is the case drop a line. I empathize from that point of view. At least its not crack or smack or the current scourge meth..I smoke herb but Im responsible enough to know when and when not to get blazed like I said everyone has a vice..and peoples responsibilities are whats at fault not their poison. Kinda like the adage, Guns dont kill people,people kill people.. And I do agree with you about posting bong pics..try explaining that to an intelligent curious kid reading over your shoulder lol..i told mine it was a flower vase and get the "thats bullshit" look from a 4 yo.
