They do charge tax depending on your location. my tax would be $25 so even with free shipping it would still cost me $424 so $389 would be a $35 saving. If i remember right, taxes are charges if the company is shipping warehouses within the same state or county. If his tax was $40 then he saved $50...yes, thats a deal.

It actually says the tax they put on there is an estimate, it adjusts to local tax after you input a shipping address
