you dont feel the shift as much as you hear it. its got the synchro rev trans or whatever, but beteween the trans and the twin turbos winding up its pretty noisy and deffinitly rides like a race car but you can adjust all different types of shit from right in it the car electroniclly

Well Nissan is actually redesigning the newer GTR tranny's to withstand launch control when VDC is turned off. I am always confused as to why Nissan would allow such a thing to be offered on the GTR if it voids warrenty...oh well, lol.

lol that reminds me of that Hitler video where he voided his warranty.

Still.... I'm not a fan of the transmission. You work at the dealership right? What's the deal with the VDC switch (I believe). The Vehicle Dynamic Control switch that when turned off disables that computer and engages simple traction control. The whole Adolf Hitler's GT-R parody and every thing about that switch just turns me off of them.

Why add a feature you can't use - More like sign an agreement saying you WON'T use and if you do you void your warranty?

I just have to say "meh" to the GT-R.

^ HA HA HA I've just had a noob moment. I didn't even see that everything I mentioned was already said above. *sigh*
Been a long time. Still alive...

Thats cool we all have our own opinions but the different settings dont void the warranty or we just voided it on a brand new car. but as far as ever wanting one...id pass consedering a four wheel brake job would run you a couple grand, oiil change a lil over a hundred and servicing the trans is i believe like 1200 bucks or close to it.
