    Bullsh*t, F The Police

well one thing led to another and it snow balled, here is how my situation unraveled.

First I was pulled over a couple of months back for improper license plate light, he said it was too dark. Oh well, well I was late paying the ticket. First time I was ever late paying a ticket. They didn't tell me that my license gets suspended right away for it being late. So I got pulled over last night on my way home from school. I hit a bump and a blew a fuse for my dash and tail lights. I don't get 1 mile and I get pulled over. Cop decides to give me an 30 minute speech about how I need to get my F&F a-ss of shit car out of Indianapolis and he never wants to see me in town again. He did even tell me what I did wrong, I thought it was just my cluster that went out. Then he proceeds to yell at me, you don't have any fucking tail lights. I say I am sorry I didn't not know they where out but I can fix that right now with a new fuse. Then he says too late I am already righting the ticket.

He proceeds to go back to his car, 30 minutes later a tow truck arrives and he proceeds to hand cuff me. I am thinking WTF, then he tells me that my license is suspended and after another lecture for street racing. Which I don't do anymore and haven't in a couple of years. Proceeds to uncuff me and lets me sit on the side of the road in 10 degree weather waiting on a ride.

Now my license is suspended for 3 months, I have to pay the stupid light ticket, dws ticket, reinstatement fee, deffensive drivers course, and the impound/tow fee. This is going to add up to about 1k dollars after it is all said and done. And I can't get to work or school now. What the fuck am I supposed to do????

The original ticket was only a day late.

    sorry /rant

Go to court on the date they gave you. Most o the time they'll throw most of those out. They count on people just paying them, but every time I've had multiple tickets, they've ditched all but one. Plus it gives you a chance to explain to the judge and the prosecutor.

Yea dude your going to have to suck it up.

Its a lesson in just how important due dates are. They are there for a reason.

But i second going into court, its worth a shot.

          Good luck.

try paying a ticket on time after you get thousands in medical bills and just get out of the hospital for having a brain tumor removed. I am not being an ass but I just could not get it paid.

Trust me if I had gotten this any where else I would fight it, but in the town it was in. I'll prob end up in jail. The judge is a HUGE douche.

I feel your pain bro but go to court explain to the judge about the reasons why it wasnt paid on time with documents showing your were indeed hospitalized and plead you case....its a possibility you might come out saving a couple hundreds and might get your license re-instated earlier(this is your best case scenario).
Everyone has hard times and cant pay certain bills on time but you have to understand that they are consequences even though it seems the officer was being a dick he actually doing his job.

I'm with you. Fuck the police. I've been to court a couple of times for these scams. Depending on the special prosecutor sometimes they'll reduce it or dismiss the case. Its all depends on who the prosecutor is. From my experience most of the time if its a guy they are a lil more lenient. For some reason though the female prosecutors act like they got something to prove. idk just something I noticed.

I understand it was his job, but I could have done with out the hour of b.s. lecturing for stuff I didn't do. He was just out profiling. If he wasn't he would have just stfu and just give me the ticket/impound my car. He was a douche.

I talked to my/my parent lawyer about it, he said good luck fighting it, and to just take the suspension and fines.

the bad thing is I live in the middle of no where with NO public transportation.

well I am off to class, looks like my dad is going to have to drive me...

So you broke the law, were late paying the ticket, broke the law again (your cluster goes out, you stop to see what was wrong...) and you're complaining? Yeah... "F the police" They should let you get away with breaking the law. You were only doing it a little bit, and it was purely out of ignorance. Don't those stupid cops know the law? If you don't know about it, you aren't required to follow it. Everyone knows that! (oh, wait... it's your responsibility to know the laws, and have a vehicle that is operational in in accordance with said laws... oops. )

You see not to blame it on the cop becuase he was kinda rude to you. But perhaps if he wouldve get laid like this guy your day would have been much better and hed probably let you off the hook
