    91 Accord SE - revived

As some of you may know, our family's 91 Silver Accord SE auto got smashed up in the front, compliments of my dad rear-ending someone. Well, the bodyshop told him that it looked worse that it really is, that because the car has a low front end, the hood took most of the damage and left the frame intact.

Anyhow here are some before and after pics, I have to say they did a nice paint job....it now makes the rest of the car look crappy because the top roof has paint fade & hail damage as well as the trunk lid. Oh yea, and the front bumper came from a 92-93 front clip so our car is a mutt now It will look better with amber corners in the front to match the amber turns in the bumper.

nice, judging by the pictures you've provided - it's hard to tell that it was ever in an accident now!

            that stock hood is strong!

Are you sure thats a 91? Looks like a 93 judging by that front end. However, I don't think they made a 93 SE in silver.

Wow the after pics look really great. I think the lesson here is not to let your parents drive your car

well, it's not my car...for one it's an automatic and two it's my momz

i was pissed though because i did alot of work on the front end suspension before he wrecked it (ie. front upper control arms, outer tie-rods, lower control arm ball jts, new rotors & pads, reman. FR calipers...already had new coil springs). Luckily all this stuff checked out fine and there is no vibrations, so it was more hood damage then anything, the frame seems fine...the doors shut fine & everything

LOL, no I didn't. I usually don't do that kind of thing. Ooops.

So this brings me to the next question...

Why the hell would you want to have a "mutt" car like that? I draw the line at using wheels of a different year.

Cost/availability of replacement parts...ie not having a 90-91 bumper at the time.

Personally opinion. I like the 92-93 front end more and I didn't have fogs, I'd convert my 90 to look like a 92-93. I am doing the trunk swap.

                              I dunno...

I don't mind so much things like wheels, maybe headlights or tail lights, and yes a front lip, but when you start replacing the whole front clip I think thats a bit much.

But then again I love when I see an Integra with a JDM front clip.

                              Man I don't know!

I guess if you like it, then do your thang!!!
